ABS linked to VSS on a 94?
Okay, so I checked it out again today, and the ABS trouble codes were 1 3, and 1 4. High pressure leakage, and pressure switch respectively.
The one thing I'm still not getting though is why the CEL isn't giving any codes at all. I sat there for a few minutes, and the CEL just stayed on. I have a gut feeling something is going on, because the car feels and sounds like there's a dead cylinder.

Well can we back up a minute and really get into this.
You have abs codes for the motor, I posted already some things to try.
Why do you feel there is a "dead" cyl.....once warm the engine has a miss at ~2000 rpms? If you hammer the gas pedal there is no issue?

I probably messed up the process. I was confused when skyfire talked about long & short flashes. As shown in Poorman's picture, the sequence begins with a long flash that isn't part of any code. The actual codes are all short flashes.
Check the stuff that Poorman suggested, come back & if needed we can make additional suggestions.
Bleed the ABS fluid and see what happens.

You didn't jump the gun....Sorry if my post came across that way. Code 1, with or without sub codes can be many things. I was only trying to say that a bleed of the ABS system - Jim has a write up on it - is the best place to start IMO. I have a pdf of a service bulletin on this but it is a pdf and too large to attach, do a goggle serach for "93-038 service bulliten".
If could turn out to be something else but a bit of time and a some fresh brake fluid could make it go away. I'll let you value your time but the ~$5 in brake fluid is a cheap try.
For the "dead cyl" - can you give us more details on this? I have nothing to go on besides the generation and a guess at the miles on the car. Read about clogged egr ports on these Accords and see if that "fits" with what you are feeling?
