ABS Only When Cold?

ABS Only When Cold?
I own a 94 EX VTEC MT, and my ABS light has been on for some time now. The code is 1-2 which I belive is the pump motor. I live in Cincinnati Ohio and the temperature has not gone above 30F for almost three weeks.During this time my ABS light has been a no show and with all this snow and ice we have been having it has been nice having it work properly. Is this common that it will work when cold, or are the car gods lookin out for me knowing the weathers rough!

RE: ABS Only When Cold?
Code 1-2 indicates an open or short circuit in the power feed somewhere. Since ABS now works, an open seems likely since a short would have blown a fuse. If you're handy w/ a VOM, you should be able to trace the open when problem is expressed. A weak ABS pump motor relay would be a prime candidate.

RE: ABS Only When Cold?
It could be a broken wire. More likely a relay problem like Texas said.
