Default ABS Problem

Hey guys; so I just a 94 Honda Accord over the weekend and the owner before me did not fill up the ABS, so the light came on. After buying it I fill it out with Brake Fluid and you can hear this noise coming from the ABS but then it goes away. My question is that sometimes the ABS goes away and sometimes it comes back? How do I get the ABS to stop doing that? Do I need to bleed the ABS? If so how?

Thanks;
Ricky

You may need to bleed the ABS, but first you need to jumper the service connectorand count the blinks of the ABS light to tell you why the light is coming on. There is aconnector under the dash that needs to be jumpered with a paper clip. Check out this thread: https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/m_34343/tm.htm
Type in ABS in the search engine above while you await responses. Check out the threads that have been done already. Ask more questions hereif you don't find your answers there
Oh...and once you jumper the connector, post the code you got here too.

like it was adviced you can try beeding it,, but when you say previous owner did not fill the reservoir it tends me to believe that there might be a possible leak in the modul- accumul assembly 94-97 accords were very notorious for those leaking ...

There is a TSB for leaking body plugs in themodulator, and occasionally the accumulator-modulator oring seal will leak. If you want the TSB, PM me w/ your email address.

Modulator is generally self bleeding as it will continue to attempt to build pressure, and trapped air is released back into the reservoir. Some pumps leak and won't build pressure, or there are leaks internally. Both of these will require a replacement modulator. They can be found for < $100 used easily.

good luck
