my friend has a 97 accord lx 2.7 v-6. both his srs and abs light are on. is this common for the older v6's? is there a way to make them stay off aside from pulling the fuse. when u pull the fuse, the power windows dont work anymore. thanks

theres 2 seperate problems and no it is not the fuses.

the ABS system detects an error and signalizing it by ABS light
the SRS system detects an error and signalizing it by SRS light

the only right/proper way to fix that is Connect the service computer to a car computer and check for the codes.

Repair/Replace parts as needed.
