Here in USA, Honda didn't introduce "i-VTEC" until 2003, so I bet someone just got that badge and stuck it on the car.

Hi kris. I will definitely post some pics over the weekend.

It has quality fabric seats with seat heaters, 4door Manual transmission with AC heater, powered sun-roof, right hand drive, cruise control, ABS, alloy wheels with stock tyre size 195/60 R15.

Rings some bell?

@ jim: you are right jim, it was very confusing too but i-vtec was introduced in Japansese versions way back in 1988. That is why i wanted to confirm if this version that i have originally came with a vtec coz it has an emblem which says i-vtec.
Thanks

For the parts emblem available for that model, I see no VTEC emblem. Also, looking at the parts diagram, I don't see a VTEC spool valve. I would say the original engine it came with does not have VTEC.
Cheers redbull. It explains better. As far as the emblem goes, it looks quite original and goes with the rest of the branding but you never know.it helped a lot.

How did you find this info? Any special decoder?
