Default Accord 1996 : PCV Hose

Hi,

I just broke my PCV Hose when replacing my PCV valve.
I just check online and just the hose cost 36$$$

BULK HOSE, VACUUM (7.3X3000)-1996 Honda ACCORD SEDAN-95005-75003-10M

Where can I find and what king of hose can be used as a cheaper solution to replace the PCV hose ??

Thanks

The reason the hose cost so much is because that is bulk hose; 3,000 mm or almost 10 feet.

Just bring the pcv valve to an auto parts store that sells bulk hose that they cut; so, they can match up a hose with an inside diameter close for the valve.

If 7.3 is the inner diameter (ID) in mm, then a 9/32 ID vacuum hose should be the closest to match the metric. A hardware store would be a good place to start. Call your local chain auto parts store. Maybe chain stores like home depot.

If you just tore the original hose a bit, some electrical tape would be a temporary fix until you find a replacement.

At the hardware store you might have to be careful to get hose that can stand oil & heat without softening.

I really don't like the way the Gates hose looks ... it's also a lot harder to squeeze.

If anyone wants to go in on a group purchase of some bulk 95005-75003-10M, I'll pitch in 10 bucks for my foot's worth.

Thanks. John
