i jumped the 2 pin socket, check engine light and srs light turned on constantly, and the abs light was flashing 1-7. does it mean that the rear left abs sensor is faulty?
normally it never lights.
the car indeed vibrates when braking but it can be felt in the steering wheel too so i suppose the front rotors are warped.

or could it be that in this version of the car the abs light flashes instead of the check engine light??

The code for the left-rear ABS wheel sensor cannot distinguish between a bad sensor or a bad wiring connection somewhere. Take a look at the wiring first before throwing money at a new sensor. Unplugged wire harness? Corrosion? Insulation scraped off the wires?

I've had a wheel-sensor throw a code like that when a bunch of metal shavings & crud was built up on the sensor. So in that case it just needed a good cleaning.

Vibration when braking sounds like problem with a front brake rotor and probably has nothing to do with the error code. Look at this...
