Default Accord Brake Pad change

I got a question about changing the front brake pads on my Accord. it has ABS brakes. after i open the caliper, I would need a C-clamp to push the piston in to allow enough room for the pads. some people say pushing in the piston would damage the ABS braking systems, others say it's okay. Will it damage ABS? is so, what's the best way? open the bleed valve?

I've done it on my accord fine without any issues... and i actually didn't use a c-clamp, but rather some elbow grease, a rag, and a crescent wrench (just to get a good level push)

I believe it's the rear calipers you have to be careful with. I've heard you have to turn the piston as you push it in. I may be wrong though, I've never owner any cars with ABS.

I've used a C-clamp before ..... I prefer my 16" channel locks though ..... easier to work with.

I never had an issue with my Accord and ABS after pushing the pistons back in the caliper.

I did own a Camry that the piston was flat with a notch in it, after trying to push it back with no success, I found out that type you actually screw in.
