Default Accord mk5 climate control faulty

Hi all. I've got a problem with my climate control. You can set it to low or high but it doesn't change the temperature it seems to be fully on (hot) all the time. Even if the a/c is on or off it doesn't affect the temp?
Could it be a sensor? Or something

Thank you in advance
Paul

What year is this?

Check this thread for a possible way to get codes from the HVAC : https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/for...threads-40780/

I've removed the unit from the dash but all wires seem to be in place. Also I've noticed that randomly the coolant temp gauge shoots up to the top and if you tap the cluster it then falls back to the midway point. When left idling the cooling fans kick in constantly after a short time. I've checked the hoses the top and bottom hoses are hot but the rad seems to be quite cool to the touch
