Adding oil to torque converter
Im in the process of replacing my transmission on a 2007 4 cylinder. I picked up a transmission and torque converter at a junk yard. The torque converter has no fluid in it or not much. How do you add fluid to it? Am I blind???
Id like to add some to it rather then start it up dry I know it will get pumped in there.

ATF is pumped in by internal pump. You could pull fuel pump fuse and turn engine over to prefill torque converter. No way to know if successful.
I checked Honda Shop Manual for your vehicle and did not see any discussion of pre-filling the torque converter.
You should get a shop manual to guide your work. An emanual from automanualsource.com is only $22.
good luck

Only support I can offer is the flow rate is relatively high, perhaps 4-6 gpm, so it will only take a few secs to fill the torque converter. No parts touch in torque converter; stator or rotor. Only bearings are issue, and there are many bearings in the trans that depend on oil tranpsort.
Filling of torque converter must also happen when AT is factory assembled and installed.
I think you'll be fine, but turning engine over for 15-30 secs w/ starter may be prudent.
good luck
