Additives/Cleaners or NONE?

Additives/Cleaners or NONE?
Has anyone used seafoam in their Accord? How did that go? I've used it in vehicles, before, got the huge white cloud of smoke.. is that really carbon burning off, or is it the seafoam burning off? I've done it to my Accord once, back at around 175k ..... Now I'm reading that it could cause older seals to fail .. . I'm at 194k right now
Also, I always use lucas oil stabilizer, but now I am a little skeptical about it, too.... Does anyone have any information about the actual science behind it?
I've also done the gunk motor flush to it, before, but I am concerned about trying that again, too.. Is it really such a bad idea to run solvents through?
What about the lucas fuel treatment with upper cylinder lubricants and fuel system cleaners?? Is that a good idea? I usually run fuel system treatments with the tank almost empty, since they're less diluted then, is that okay?
Just some random questions and thoughts for the day.. any input is appreciated

Wouldn't worry about fuel additives. Seafoam is good to use in the crankcase for KNOWN issues, sludge, sticky or noisy lifters...I've used it with success in some of those situations. If the vehicle has been properly maintained and runs fine with no issues...I wouldn't worry about additives, most are snake oil anyway.
