Advantages of using cruise control in accord 98
presently i am using accord 98 Lx, 4cyl, 2.3L, auto trans. Please what are the advantages of using cruise control in this accord? Although i normally drive between 100km/hr and 120km/hr. I don't go beyond this because our road here is not too ok. What do they mean when they say the fuel economy mpg is: 23.0 city/ 30.0 highway? And how do i calculate my gas mileage in km/hr in this car. Thanks hoping to hear from you soon

Cruise control is more efficient, because your car will go at a constant speed. No wasted acceleration (which consumes more fuel).
Along the same note, driving in the city where you have start and stop traffic will give you lower miles per gallon (the 23 rating). On the highway where you go a constant speed, you will get more miles per gallon (30 rating).
I think those numbers you gave are for the US, so 23 mpg (miles per gallon) is about 37 Km. The way I calculate gas is fill the gas tank up until the gas pump clicks. Set your tripometer to zero. Drive until you get low on gas, then refill at the gas station (fill to the top where the handle clicks). Divide the miles you drove by the gallons you just added.

Sorry, went a bit off topic there.
Anyway, the only thing I can add to what PA posted is: If you get into "mountains", do not use the cruise as it can't see the road ahead.

thanks to you PAhonda, I always put on the AC when driving, i hardly roll down the mirrors due to dust, will the mileage calculations still be ideal because i know that AC uses gas fuels to regulate the interior temperature for comfort when the temperature is hot outside

If you calculate mileage using (MILES) / (GALLONS) then you're doing it correctly.
Yes, using the AC all the time will cause your MPG to get worse. I'm not sure whether the EPA estimated MPG numbers are for the AC turned on or off.
