Default Amazed myself, MPG

Drove up to Montreal the other day. I filled up my tank before crossing the border. I was then able to drive to montreal and then all the way back home on one tank of gas, without the gas light coming on!!!

I did some meandering looking for a hotel since I had plans to drive back same night but my GF refused to. Next day we came straight home, stopping 5 times so she could use the bathroom (5 times on a 6 hour trip lol, making it 7 hours).

All in all I got 35 MPG on that tank. I was staggered. EPA is only 32 highway for my 2003 accord I4

I wonder what is the best people can get from theirs? I'm sure someone has done better than this with maybe a mod or two, care to share?

Granted My 87 Accord doesn't get 35+ mpg but it does get 30-32 mpg running a carberated engine with over 167,000 mi on the odometer only mod ive done is redid the exhaust from the header pipe back and converted it to 2" pipe all the way back to bumper. Other then that all original to date. Some people may not be impressed but i think for a 21 yr old non fuel injected car that's not to shabby.

Best I got driving to Montreal was 32mpg. I'll still be going to Montreal even though they lost the Formula 1 race. To bad, that was a blast. They have a Casino in the center of the race track!!! I love the Canadian women!! Here some video I took of the race.
