im working on an 06' Honda Accord coupe EX I4 2.4L DOHC i-vtec w/ CEL on. read codes(didnt write numbers down, sorry!) 2 coolant temp. sensor codes and one Ambient Air Temp Sensor code. found the coolant temp sensor but cant seem to locate the AATS!? i figured it'd be around the air box or air tube. took air box apart and noticed that the air filter was way way dirty so i swapped that out. maybe a dirty air filter could have thrown that code? seems logical. the air tube is molded with an additional sensor port and bracket. but there's nothing there and nothing loose hanging around... i searched the FAQ, searched for topics and manuals and couldnt find any component diagrams to give a location. if anyone has any input at all let me know!

 

#14 is the intake-air-temperature sensor on my 2003, but for 2006 it's NOT present. Mine didn't have the air-flow sensor #20, so maybe your air temperature measurement is built into THAT sensor.


I'm assuming the error is about the engine-air intake temperature, and not the outside-air temperature display on the dashboard??
