Another Low Idle Victim

Another Low Idle Victim
I have a '92 Accord EX with a 5 Speed.
The car will not idle when at operating temperature.
List of things that I have done:
-Cleaned IACV
-Replaced the FITV (which, works perfectly)
It seems like this is a problem that has gradually gotten worse. At first, the car used to run rough and not idle only after the car had under half of a tank of gas. Now, the car will barely idle. Very very low, 600-ish, even stall when coming to a stop.
After cleaning the IACV, I attempted the "Idle re-learn procedure" and when I pulled off the IACV wiring harness, the car died.
It runs rich, my back bumper is black with exhaust and I can smell gas when I am inside of the car.
When we replaced the FITV, it ran really well for a small amount of time when the car was warm. It wasn't burning rich for maybe a minute or so, (I could tell by the smell) and then it went right back to what it was doing before.
I'm out of ideas.
Help. lol

Did you thoroughly clean inlet/outlet passages of IACV, clean valve movement, and clean both sides of throttle plate? If not suggest repeating the cleaning.
Suggest adjusting the idle air bleed screw on top center of throttle body intake to get about 550 +/- 50 rpm w/ IACV electrically disconnected.
Rich mixture might arise from ruptured fuel pressure regulator. Pull vacuum reference line to fuel pressure regulator and sniff for gasoline. If gasoline smell, the line is rupture and a new regulator is needed.
Another possibility is a stuck open fuel injector allowing too much fuel. You should have a miss on one cylinder in this case.
good luck

The fuel pressure regulator is on the end of the fuel rail (the end on the passenger side of the car). It has one vacuum line going to it. If you don't know what it looks like, try searching sites that sell parts for the picture or even ebay.
