Default Anti Theft Question (2004)

Hey all,
I have a 2004 Accord V6. My problem started when I would lock the doors with the key fob, and the lights or horn would not chirp (no matter how many times I pressed the button). I thought nothing of it, I still used the key fob to the lock the doors, and now what happens is that the factory alarm goes off for no reason. (horn goes nuts and lights flash). What would cause this, and are they related? I have checked the door jamb switches, and they seem to work fine (when you open/close the door, it is indicated on the dash, and the dome lights go on/off), so I am pretty sure they are fine....I hope. ANY help would be great. Thanks

ALSO, I don't think it would be related, BUT, I do have a HID kit installed in the car. No wires were cut. Just plug and play. That is the only mod to the car, everything else is stock.

I believe the switch is actually inside the the actual latching mechanism of the door.
An ETM would show you the circuit.
However if you are needing to keep the alarm shut off; as a temporary measure you can usually unplug the hood latch switch, on some years you have to unplug it and jumper the plug.
