All Honda dealers in my area say the Honda clearance only happens once a year. I have not bought a new Honda since my first one. A Civic station wagon in 1980 and I remember it was $6,000 and something back then. Loved that car.
Have bought 3 used Accords since then, usually around 5 years old. I am looking to go against my normal judgment treat myself to a new Honda. I'm leaning towards the Accord again but might test ride the Civic for the heck of it. My last two were EX but I don't really use the moonroof and can live without 6-Disc In-Dash CD player, 17-Inch Wheels and Heated Power Side Mirrors, so I am looking at the LX Premium @ $23,465 before tax and destination charge.
Will be buying it outright with no payments but from what I heard that does not help in bargaining. Sorry to ramble on. Back to my question. Will the 2009 models come down since the 2010 models are knocking at the door? The main Honda site list the 2010 Accord LX Premium for only $22,855!! Thanks for any comments.
