247k miles. 2004 K series.
Anything to look out for when replacing these pumps? Never had a pump seize, had several leak.

Probably AISIN make the original. You can price the difference between an OEM vs Aftermarket to get an idea of the cost difference.

 

I'd probably go with the OEM on this part. I'm not sure on the OEM manufacturer.

 

Ok, thanks. the OEM honda thermostat assembly online is about $70. the Aisin thermostat assembly on Rock Auto is $23. I do want to buy the best quality one, don't want to do this job twice. Harder to get to than in the 1990s Hondas.

 

Aisin water pump is approx $63 on Rock Auto and OEM Honda online is $200.

 

Also, anything else I should replace while I've got it apart to replace the w pump, for example any sensors, etc that would be easy to get to? Plan on replacing the original thermostat also. Possibly the original radiator hoses, even though they are in good shape.
