Does this make any sense: Running regular in a vehicle that requires premium can foul an oxygen sensor? I think I read that somewhere once... what about running e85 in a non-e85 car? my girlfriend filled her neon up with e85 once....i dont think it hurt anything severely
Regular vs. premium shouldn't have any affect on the O2 sensor.
E85 can cause problems with deteriorating rubber seals & stuff in the fuel system. And corrosion from themoisture that's usually carriedalong with theethanol. But I think that's long-term. Using it once might not do anything bad.
