Default Automatic to manual

2002 Honda Accord coupe
Ex, the car is currently automatic. Do they make a manual transmission for that year and if so how much of a pain is it to convert?

No, they did not make a V6 with a stick in the Gen 6 Accords.

The pain to convert is extreme; you'll need to find a transmission from an Acura CL (so I'm told), change out the drive shafts, convert some of the wiring harnesses, figure out how to mount a clutch pedal and do all of the hydraulic plumbing, convert the gear selector area to mount a stick shift, and then route the shift linkage.

Given the thousands of dollars (and probably hundreds of hours as well) to do the job, it is by far less expensive to sell your Accord and buy something with a stick (even a later model Accord or something like an Acura TL).

No problem, were it an easier conversion I would probably have already done it to my 2001 Accord.
