Cool Automatic Seatbelt Stuck Forward

First off I want to thank anybody who helps me with this. I have a 90 Accord EX, I switched the car off the other day and without opening the door, the driver side auto seatbelt went forward and has stayed forward. It has done this once before, and started working. The seat belt light did flash and beep one day but has since just stayed on. I am wondering if the motor is out maybe?

Welcome newbie!

Check fuses.
Then check for loose/dirty electrical plugs under the seat. (I think the motor is triggered based on the seat switches??)

Then call a Honda dealer. I think back in 1990 they had a seatbelt warranty "for the useful life of the vehicle". Unless the car has a salvage title, it might be a free repair. At least it's worth a phone call to the dealer.
