Default Bad bearing in pulleys

I just replaced my leaky power steering pump and still have a whine coming from the pulley system. I'm curious if the alternator bearing fail regular basis or could it be another bearing.

Yes it "could" be another....4 or 6. The alt, ac or idler could be the issue......

On my (former) 2003 4-cyl, the tensioner pully got a noisy bearing. So yeah, it might be just about any of the bearings.

Use a scrap piece of garden hose or a piece of wood as a poor-man's stethoscope. Maybe you can pinpoint the location of the sound?

Did you change the O-ring in this TSB?
