Default Bad sensor

I have a 97 accord LE with the 2.2. My problem is that the idle is erradic. It will rev up and down when in park or nuetral. The body shop told me there was an error code for the MAP sensor. I bought a new $75.00 sensor and it didn't fix my problem. I am thinking that I might have caused the code by unplugging the MAP sensor while the car was running? I cleared out the error code and it hasn't come back for two weeks now yet the problem is still there.
Thanks for your help.

Default RE: Bad sensor

If you have an erratic idle, check the IACV first. Clean it with some carb cleaner and put it back in. Also, when I had a idle problem with my Civic I ran some seafoam through a vacuum line on the engine and it seemed to fix the problem.
