hey guys,

my battery is dead and I was trying to jump start my car.
It's not so easy to take off my positive battery cap (red).
I tried pulling and it just wouldn't take off, instead it just broke off.
It's only the cap that broke off, and It still has some remaining red parts surrounding the around the positive terminal of the battery, and i need to get that part off to use my clamp on it.

Any ideas?

PS: It also kinda looks like im not supposed to take it off completely.. lol

 

Mine had a hook molded into the plastic. The top un-hooks by moving sideways, then it hinges open to reveal the battery post.
