RE: Battery specs for a 1994 honda accord
Only battery spec in 94 Honda Accord manual says 12V-55AH/5 hr. I assume this would mean 55 A for1 hr. Not sure what the 5 hrs means. Basically, a small battery is fine for these cars.
Recent Consumer Reports tested a lot of batteries for performance. After reading, I concluded that all of the popular brands (Everstart, Eveready, et al) were roughly the same, but that individually you can easily pick up a great battery or a dud. I think that's why they have such good warranties. Manufactuer's realize they may sell you a bad one.
good luck

Walmart's Everstart brand seem as good as any, are available everywhere, and Walmart really stands behind the warranty. Houston's hot weather is hell on batteries and I rarely get more than 2-3 yrs, even w/ cars that start easily.
