that belt doesnt look right

Default that belt doesnt look right

i noticed the timing belt moving side to side on my 94 accord vtec. this is on the cam sprocket on top . is that a problem? i put the belt on about 2 years ago. doesnt seem to be causing a problem. what should i inspect.

How much are we talking side to side? How lose is the belt? With some force it should be able to slide a little.

i can see it moving through an opening at top of timing cover. looks as if sprocket is cockeyed. but its the belt not running true.

Open the upper timing cover & check for the belt being too loose. It shouldn't be TIGHT like an alternator belt, but not sloppy either.
