BEST OIL AND OIL FILTER FOR OUR ACCORDS NOW
I agree with Billcat. He has done his homework, and deserves 4 college credits..lol. I work in a nuke power plant, and these generators have used synthetics for 30 years. The oil is filtered, and tested but has never been changed. Now that is a test.

2006 Honda Accords in Australia use 10W-30. They don't have CAFE down there trying to increase the fleet fuel mileage an infitestimal amount. Honda and Ford don't care if their engines wear out, but they do want their fleet mileage to improve so they don't get penalized by the Gov't.
Why doesn't Honda require 5W-20 in their S2000 if it is so good. Mercedes and a lot of other manufacturers require 10W-30.
As for me, when I make the first oil change in our 2006 Accord the oil will be Mobil 1 10W-30, Amsoil 10W-30 synthetic, or whatever 10W-30 synthetic is on sale for $3.99 a quart with a Mobil 1 synthetic filter media filter.
