only time my car has ever broke down on me was when i but bosch plugs in. the very next day it just died

So, you're saying that if I have the Bosch Platinum+4 I made a wrong decision (long before I found these forums)? Are they worth replacing (do they really cause problems), or should I just keep them?
If you're not having any starting or running problems, you should be ok.

if the bosch plat 4's start off fine, thats about all it will do, start off fine, but it will fail or run under par not that far down the road
