I am wondering what I can do to save on fuel these days. what can I do to my car without hurting to provide better gas mileage.

 

keep the foot out of the throttle

I average about 26 on 50/50 split in a CL type S so I am sure you can get that as well in an accord

 

There's couple of things: if you car is full of crap empty it out, go nice an easy on the throttle, avoid rush hour traffic if possible- stop and go kills mileage, turn off the a/c, and make sure that your car is properly tuned up- plugs, wires, cap rotor, air filter, regular oil changes, etc. I did recently install a SRI but I have yet to see if it gives me any more mpg.
