Default blinking green key

I just bought a 2003 DX 5-speed on Monday. It's great, and I did a little searching around here, but I just noticed a blinking green key on the dash after I shut the car off. I don't have an owner's manual, so I was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction. Thanks.

I would scan the page from my owners manual, but the car isn't here right now.
That green key I do believe is the 'security system' telling you it is active. I'll make sure when I can get ahold of the manual

Thanks. I'm bidding on an owner's manual on ebay as we speak.

There you go. Hope that helps.

Why the heck didn't your car come with an owners manual?
I mean I know DX's don't come with much, but still.

Thanks. Looks like it's nothing to worry about.

I don't know why I don't have a manual--maybe I'm bidding on my own manual on ebay right now, and I don't even know it. It's funny--not the car I just traded in for the Accord, but the car before that, was a used 1996 Civic DX hatch, and that didn't come with a manual, either. And my wife's Jeep didn't have one when we bought that a few years back, either. Maybe I'm just destined to remain in the dark.

Thanks again
