Default Body Rattle

1992 Accord 4-door in great shape.

There is a rattle or noise, almost with a musical boing-boing quality, that comes from the far corner of the trunk on the passanger side, whenever I hit even a small bump on the road. It's not the jack or the spare tire and I have looked high and low for the source.

Any idea what it might be? (How about the torsion bars for the trunk lid?)

Please help.

Have you ever had any suspension work done? Springs, sturts bushings anything like that? If you can't find anything loose it sounds like a suspension problem.

Try bouncing the rear end of the car to make the noise again and then maybe you can pin point it.
