Default Bought my daughter an accord

Well, the wife and I bought our daughter her first car...a late 90's accord. Any tips or tricks I should know? How about recalls? What's the first thing I should give attention too?

Thanks

Well, beginning in 1998 the auto-tranny is delicate. What year? What tranny?
Don't power-flush the tranny. Drain/fill.

You might inspect the front axles CV boots for splits.

Does that also pertain to an '09? I suppose if the dealer does this they should know.

Beginning in 2003 the 4-cyl auto is all completely different. I'm not sure the range of years that have had auto-tranny problems. The only Honda auto-tranny I've ever owned was a 1998 Accord.

But I always thought the warning against power-flushing applies across ALL honda automatic trannies. Haven't heard otherwise for 2009...yet.
