My vehicle is a 2.3 cc 1999 Honda Accord Coupe that the brake lights do not work properly. A little history; I drove for months with the brake switch bumper missing. When I learned what was wrong and how to fix, I replaced the bumper. There where two in the package, they both fit so i hope this is not the problem, if I used the wrong one.

The trunk lights do not come on at all. The High Center brake light does coming on intermittently; The lights do illuminate when the headlights are on and the turn signals work.

I have changed the bulbs, and checked the fuses visually. I have not put a DIGITAL MULTI-TESTER , but I plan to very soon. I've noticed water in the trunk sometimes after a rain storm. I do not know how to check for a short.

While it might be a fuse, only checked visually, what else is there I possibly missed?
