Brake Lights Out

Brake Lights Out
I have a 2001 Honda Accord. All three brake lights are out (tail lights work). I checked the fuse for "STOP" and everything is fine. Replaced it anyway, no luck. My next step was going to be to replace the brake switch. Is this correct? Anything tricky about replacing this switch. Thanks in advance.

Okay, fuses are good related to brake lights.
If you replace the brake light switch (aka brake pedal position switch), make sure you get the correct part depending on whether you have cruise control or not; they are different.
Installation instructions:
Screw in the brake pedal position switch until its plunger is fully depressed (threaded end (A) touching the pad (B) on the pedal arm). Then back off the switch 3/4 turn to make 0.9 mm (0.04 in.) of clearance between the threaded end and pad. Tighten the locknut firmly.
Connect the brake pedal position switch connector. Make sure that the brake lights go off when the pedal is released.
