Default Brake Splash Guard Rattle - Need help

I have an 05 Accord EX (V6) and the front left wheel has a rattle in it, but only at very low speed and when turning hard to left. I think it may be the splash guard plate. Can this aplash guard be removed easily ??

Thanks for any help ...

Tom

why not remove the wheel and chk it out ???
usually the brake splash guard ( backing plate) DO NOT make a rattling noise,, more like a scraping noise ,,,,,,,

I was just guessing that it is the splash guard due to the rattling metal sound. But it only does it while turning hard at very slow speed (like backing out of the garage). Do you know if the splash guard can be removed w/o removing any brakes parts ?

you need to remove pads, calipers rotors ,, to remove it,, but i would not remove it,, it is a safety part, to protect from debris, rocks, pebbles from going and possibly jamming between rotor and brakes

Also check the CV boots please. Clicking/rattling metal sounds while turning at slow speeds?

It's very very easy to CHECK the splashguard/backingplate. Simply steer the wheels hard to one side or the other when you park. Reach around behind the wheel & tap the splash guard with your hand. Does it rattle???
