Default Brakes - How do I know what I have?

I have a 2005 Honda Accord EX 4-cyl. I'm trying to find reference that would tell me about my front brakes. I've got 100,000 miles and need to change the front brakes for the first time. In looking at options for purchase, I see rotors in different sizes like 11'1" and 11.8". I also see a variety of pad options. I'm quite satisfied with the OEM parts. How do I find out what I have so I can buy the same again?

Where did you find options like that? You could just get OEM or stock-aftermarket. When the parts counter asks whether you have a V-6 or 4-cyl, auto/man trans, or they ask your for the car's VIN, the reason for those questions is so they know what stuff your car needs.

This belongs in General Tech, so I'll move it.

I was looking online at Napa. The options they had for the car were those I mentioned.

I use Brembro cross drilled and slotted Rotors and Ceramic pads, I have 163K miles and my car stops on a dime, btw they are OEM size so no changing caliper

I guess my question is really what is OEM size? I'd like to save a few bucks and not get the parts from the dealer.

When Autozone, Napa, etc looks the parts up in their PC's they will give a part number not a size :/

and honestly if theirs one thing you don't want to "save on" its your brakes, get OEM, Honda only approves their brakes because they meat rigorous testing standards

I've used Brembo stock rotors forever and never had a problem. One local parts shop near me has good prices on them. Go to tirerack.com & put in your car's information for several rotor choices. Brembo is a good established brand for brakes & I wouldn't consider them to be "cheaping out".
