So I replaced my brakes about two months ago.I bought Brembo discs and pads to the front and back. I put them on and they work just fine but that annoying squeaking sound is there! I asked my mechanic friends and they told me to give it time and drive it on the highway more... this was 2000 miles ago.
What do I do? Any ideas? Thanks!

 

You can put some Grease on the back of the pad or buy some crc disc quiet stuff. They sell it at most auto part stores. It helps stop the harmonic vibration/squeal. My Kawasaki zg1400 was real bad until I put the Crc stuff on.

ALL performance rotors and pads will squeek, unless you are rally racing, put OEM pads back on and the squeek will go away.
