i fully agree about the awfulness of drum brakes, this was the second and hopefully last time I ever have to change them.

lol, no I didn't stand on it. I oulled on it with both hands and threw my body into it. I'm not exactly the weakest guy, I regularly strength train so I was like WTF. I'll give it a go later today after I get my inspection done.
No shame there. The stupid tiny lug wrench Honda includes in our cars is weak. You can't get any good torque on it.I almost gave myself a fricken hernia once trying to break loose lug nuts. Now I just put the lug wrench on and stomp on it every time.

I can't ever find a breaker bar anywhere! I know it is ridiculous that I can't find one. WalMart=no, AutoZone=no, Anvance=no, Home Depot=no, Lowes=no. Sears is in a very bad part of town so I have not looked there yet. I should probably invest in a bulletproof vest before venturing that way...

I hate ordering things I could go pick up in person. There is just something about paying money and having to wait for it that I don't like. Call me old school, but I still prefer actually going into a store and walking out with something.

Ughhh I just remembered I need a new oil filter wrench. the stupid one I have only fit the old filters that were on my cars.It doesn't fit the purolators I use now. This weekend my oil change took over an hour cause I couldn't get the stupid filter off and my wife was not home. Good thing I keep my pimp hand strong cause I was finally able to break it loose by hand. After all of that I went to swap out my PCV valve. the hose tore. I cut off a small section. Then I couldn't get the new one in the piece of hose that was still there. My pimp hand started cramping. There wasexcessive use of profanity. I finally got it in far enough that it appeared it would not pop out. but I still couldn't get the claimp on right. I haven't checked it yet.I think I may do that on my lunch break today.
