Default Broke my radio display

Had a slight, in-car mishap and broke my car's radio display. the radio is working, but there's a crack in the display and i cant see the time or what station i'm on. is this a relatively easy fix? what's the cost?

yes depending on what year you have.
Since you did not include your year I will guess.

Um I guess you have a model without the A/C controls built into the radio
I also guess your car is a 4 cyc and possibly Silver

So based on those assumptions...

Step 1 - remove radio
Step 2 - install aftermarket radio
Step 3 - ?????
Step 4 - Profit

Ok I could be wrong on the last 2 steps but everything else I am solid on.

There is no reason to fix your factory radio (nor an easy DIY way)

it's a 2005 accord ... yes, silver. or gray, whatever. my initial problem with the radio is that it cuts out every now and then. usually, a couple of firm, yet gentle, smacks with my palm gets it working again. i guess this time i was too firm, my display cracked. so the radio works, sometimes, but the display is completely gone.

You will be better off with an aftermarket unit.

$200 gets you a real decent unit and they are easy to install yourself.
