Default a/c shuts off while driving

I have a 2000 Honda Accord 4 cyl with an amazing 254,000 miles on it. And this car still runs very well, some slight slippage in the tranny. This summer I've had troubles with the ac. The ac blows very cold, but will cut off while driving. When I first start the car the ac works I may drive it for 10 or 15mins and it cuts off.
Some days I drive it and it doesn't shut off. It seems to cut off more than not. The green light on the ac button cuts off and I feel hot air come out. Is this a bad switch or freon is low?

Are both fans in front of the radiator fan turning on when you run the a/c?

it is NOT a freon issue more like an electrical issue,,,,,,,clutch gap ok ?? if ok,, you need to have it diagnosed many things could cause a/c to shut off intermittently ......relay,, poor connection, thermo switch, pressure switch, .
..I have seen a lot of evap thermo switch cause that ,,
