Default a.c vents

2003 accord...drivers 2 vents blow warm and passenger 2 vents blow cold. Not dual a.c. Is there a damper door seperating the 2 sides?

Should we assume auto HVAC in this question? If so I would try to get the codes from the HVAC unit....."sounds" like the mix door motor on the drivers side is not working? But that is a guess, get the codes.

Tell us what type, pretty sure almost all the 03's had HVAC but hate to assume, of system you have and we can help with checking for the codes....only need to push a few buttons on the control panel at the right time and then look for segments or lights depending on the type of system.

Do you have auto HVAC controls? Meaning you have a **** you set to, lets say, 74 and then the system does the work....or is it like the older ones where you have to move from a "hot to cold" type setting?

EDIT:From the Common DIY Threads sticky at the top of this section.....I'm getting my 6th and 7th gens mixed up....sad....I might need a vacation. Sorry

See if this gets you going...03 without Auto HVAC, be sure the pic matches your control panel.

This sometimes happens when the refrigerant charge is low. The evaporator does not fully cool and warm air comes out some vents w/ cold air from others.

Check for codes as PM suggests, but if nothing suggest having the AC pressures checked and system inspected for leaks.

good luck
