Cabin air flow diminished...tons of crap in the cabin filter!!!!

HI CCasey
am having exactly same issue with my Accord 1999. i am not a mechanic but would appreciate if you can tell me how can we clean the cabin air filter or infact my first question is: how can we get to cabin air filter/blower fan.

any help would be much appreciated

I believe there is already a write up on this forum to remove the cabin air filter. Its not hard, but it takes awhile to get all the screws out and panels out of the way. Once I had everything removed, glove box included, you can see the blower box off to the right passenger side. Its black and big. Underneath is where the fan is. There were 3 screws to take out, and it just popped out. Bit tough to get under there, but it can be done without taking the entire blower unit out. Once it was out, I banged the crap out and reinstalled everything. All is ok now!!! Good luck!!!!
