Default Cabin filter

Ugh. Think this is original cabin filter?

You are lucky. My '96 doesn't come with one so all the junk got all the way down to the AC evaporator. When I finally pulled my evaporator out for replacement, it look like a trash bin.

Did not touch blower settings and started car and whoosh. Who knew the fan moved that much air?

I doubt mine looks much better; I bought the car with 114,000 miles on the clock, it is at 189,000 now and I've never changed it.

Turns out it is a charcoal filter. Kinda made it look worse that it was
But, it was dirty. Lots of crud n the pleats.
