Hi,
I have a K&N Typhoon CAI and I was wondering if I needed to convert it into a short ram for the winter. I have heard stories that too much cold air is bad and I wasn't sure if those were true or not. I live in Iowa so we have a sufficient amount of snow.

Thanks

Personally I think you are fine. Never heard of "too much" cold air? Also, IMO, with that set up you are getting more air from under the hood than from the outside, so again IMO, you are getting "warmer" air with that set up than a stock set up..

Nothing about restrictions, more the temp of the air going to the filter.
