Default Caliper replacement

I havea '94 Accord LX and need to replace the front brake pads & probably calipers as the pads only wear in one corner bad and are griding now. Can someone give me a rundown on how to replace the calipers? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Default RE: Caliper replacement

Your description of the problem sounds more like one the slider pinsis frozen.
I'd check that first before replacing the calipers

Any aftermarket shop manual; Haynes or Chilton will describe the procedure to inspect calipers and slide pins.

You can download a 94-97 manual from Online Manuals FAQ links.

Search is now working and there are some good posts and pics on replacing the rotors, if that is necessary. Replacing rotors requires a bit of work to access the bearing hub which traps the rotor. Again there is info in the DIY FAQ's.

good luck
