I really need to replace the lightbulb on my car's headlight, can I do it by myself or can autozone do it for me? My friend took my car to autozone and the person said they couldnt do it, too come another day to look for someone who can. If I can do it by myself, can you tell me how?

 

You can do it yourself. This picture shows the lamp housing taken apart, which you do NOT have to do. Look at the backside of the headlight that's burned out. You may find the battery or the air cleaner in the way of a clear view, but probably don't have to remove them.

The bulb is shown as #10 (high-beam) or #11 (low-beam). Unplug the wire, then release the bulb by twisting #5 about 1/4-turn. Make sure you DO NOT TOUCH the glass of the new bulb. Oil from your fingers will make it burn out real soon.
