Lightbulb suggestions?

Silverstars have nice color; but, usually do not last long. I used them before and the first pair lasted awhile, after that, all the Sillverstar replacements lasted only a few months. The rated life on the Silverstar Ultra is 300 hours.

I currently use Philips HIR2 9012 in place of the 9006. They are far brighter and have a longer estimated lifespan of around 1,400 hours. (The light is not white like Silverstars though.) You have to modify the bulb base to fit.

Cheaper through Amazon though. You can always put in a cheap bulb from a local store or if you had one lying around first until an order gets shipped, if you plan on ordering bulbs through the internet.
Changing the headlights on your car require turning the steering wheel and partially removing the inner fender to access the bulb. (For coupe V6 with manual transmission, an air duct is also removed for the driver side.
