How do youb remove the accord shift boot? I can't seem to slide it down. I have taken two fingers and pinched right below the silver collar and can't get it to budge. I've pinched at the bottom of the piece and still nothing. I've tried pinching side to side and front to back. I am stumped, the pictures make it look so easy.

 

Got any ideas? to i pinch front to back, side to side or at the top of the clip or the bottom?? Lol all the diagrams make it look so easy. To i just grasp the whole thing and squeeze and try to pull down?
