Can't get ABS codes - 5th Gen (97 Rover 620Si)
My ABS light comes on as soon as I start moving and stays on for the rest of the trip. When I bridge the service connector, I get my engine fault codes (4 which I think is Crank Position Sensor), but no ABS codes. Bridging give me a solid SRS light, my four flashes of the check engine light, but ABS light stays off.
Any ideas what is going on here, or what I might be doing wrong in my attempts to pull the codes? Pretty sure it's just the one service connector to pull all the codes?

The 97 US Accord has a OBD2 connector behind the ash tray to hook up a modern scanner. Not sure if the 97 Rover has the same connector to try.
Google CD7_CD9.pdf to find a 94 accord shop manual. This is almost identical to the 97 accord, so hopefully similar to the Rover.
I'd check the various ABS fuses to see if the ABS control unit is missing a power. You can also unplug the connector(s) to the ABS module and use that manual for the ABS module pins to test the individual power and ground sources to see if something is missing.

Thanks for the link, that doc is very good. I've been able to locate my crank sensor and test it with this, so that's another thing for the parts list. I think the cap and rotor are probably original - only 45000 miles on the car, but it is 97.
Re the ABS, I've now checked all the fuses. I've checked resistance on all the sensors and they're good, but will keep on trying to work this out.
ps no OBDII on the Rover
