if it is leaking you need to replace the line ....But by you saying MUST BE LEAKING sounds like you are not too sure...did you put dye in a/c system and you saw a leak from line ?? Did battery acid fall on it and eroded the line ??

by the way ,where in AZ do you live ??

well i had a leak in my old evaporator, so i just put a new one on, there arnt any other leaks in the system, so i just figured that it has to be one of those two line that go to the evap. i live in tempe, az right off the 101 and university.

yea no dye yet but yea i charged the system and it leaked out. well im assuming that it leaked out because now the compressor wont turn on after having it charged for one day. i guess there may be an outside chance that when i filled it up it was at a higher temperature and now that the tempurature is lower the pressure just isnt enough to warrant the compressor turning on.
